We are seeking an experienced and reliable Sales Assistant with a background in builders’ merchants to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • General office administration and day-to-day clerical duties
  • Liaising with customers both face-to-face and over the telephone
  • Preparing and generating customer quotations
  • Processing orders and handling enquiries efficiently
  • Replenishing and maintaining shop stock levels
  • Supporting the smooth running of the office and trade counter

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a builders’ merchant or similar environment (essential)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Competent in basic IT systems and office software
