Accommodation Manager

Lead the guest experience from booking to check-out.

We are looking for an organised and motivated Accommodation Manager to take responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of our accommodation portfolio.

This is a varied and hands-on role where you will oversee the entire guest journey, from the first enquiry and booking through to check-out and post-stay follow-up. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards, maximising occupancy and ensuring our guests receive an exceptional experience.

The Role

Bookings & Guest Experience

Manage the full booking journey from initial enquiry through to post-stay follow-up.

Deal with bookings via telephone, email and face-to-face.

Ensure all bookings are handled accurately, efficiently and professionally.

Oversee customer payments and ensure these are managed effectively.

Ensure guests receive a seamless and welcoming experience throughout their stay.

Systems & Processes

Take responsibility for ensuring our booking system is fit for purpose and provides a seamless experience for both customers and colleagues.

Oversee all accommodation bookings and ensure information is accurate and up to date.

Develop and maintain effective systems and processes for the reception and housekeeping teams.

Ensure colleagues understand what needs to be done, when it needs to be completed and the standards expected.

Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and licensing requirements across the different property types.

Housekeeping & Property Standards

Work closely with the Head of Housekeeping to ensure all properties are cleaned, prepared and ready for guest arrival.

Support the housekeeping team when required.

Maintain consistently high standards across the accommodation portfolio.

Identify and resolve any issues promptly to ensure they do not affect the guest experience.

Occupancy & Promotions

Monitor, manage and maximise occupancy levels across the property portfolio.

Forecast periods of lower occupancy and proactively identify opportunities to increase bookings.

Manage promotions and special offers, ensuring discounting is used strategically and primarily outside core periods.

Develop and oversee a seamless process for managing discount vouchers and promotional bookings.

Team & Staff Responsibility

You will play an important role in leading and supporting the accommodation team, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration across the operation.

The Head of Housekeeping will report directly to you, and you will work closely with the housekeeping team to maintain consistently high standards.
