360 Degree Flooring Ltd is looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Floorlayer to join our growing team. This opportunity would suit someone who wants to learn a skilled trade, earn while they learn, and build a long-term career in the construction industry. No previous flooring experience is required – we’re looking for the right attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to develop.
As part of our team, you’ll work alongside experienced floorlayers on a wide range of commercial projects including student accommodation, care homes, healthcare facilities, schools, universities, hotels, offices and retail developments. Unlike many local flooring companies, our projects take us across the whole of the UK, giving you the opportunity to travel, gain experience on major projects, and work in different locations and environments.
What You’ll Learn
- Subfloor preparation and smoothing compounds
- Safety flooring installation
- Vinyl flooring installation
- Carpet and carpet tile fitting
- Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) installation
- Hygienic wall cladding systems
- Measuring and setting out
- Reading drawings and specifications
- Use of specialist flooring tools and equipment
- Site health and safety requirements
- Quality control and project delivery
What We’re Looking For

- Physically fit and prepared for hands‑on work
- Full UK driving licence preferred (or working towards one)
