What you’ll be doing
As a Concrete Mixer Driver, you’ll play an important role in delivering concrete safely and professionally to our customers.
- Safely delivering concrete while representing Grange Quarry Ltd professionally
- Working closely with the Concrete Batcher, Transport Manager and customers
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Completing all required paperwork accurately and to a high standard
- Working effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment where teamwork is essential
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone reliable, practical and proactive who takes pride in doing the job properly.
- A valid Class 2 / Category C driving licence
- Ideally at least 2 years’ driving experience
- A strong understanding of tachograph regulations
- Good local area knowledge
- Confidence using tablets and mobile phones for work-related tasks
- Good communication skills
- Solid mechanical awareness
- A proactive attitude and the ability to solve problems rather than avoid them
Working hours
Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
Every third Saturday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
