A fantastic opportunity to join a well established firm of solicitors based next to Cheshire Oaks. Our Firm is a panel member of the Police Federation (Police officers Union). We represent Police Officers that have been involved in work related accidents against the Police. The vacancy is ideal for a qualified solicitor or senior solicitor with at least 3 years experience in litigation, preferably in EL/OL personal injury.
Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of 130-150 Fast/Multi track litigated and pre-litigated personal injury claims.
- Ability to run a case from Pre-Lit to trial.
- Ability to work as part of a team, and with supervision, to comply with firm processes.
- Ability to use case management software.
- Drafting Court documents and Witness statements.
- Preparing trial bundles.
- Ensuring cases are run efficiently and court directions are complied with.
- Regularly updating clients.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in litigation essential.
- Ability to meet strict court deadlines.
- Strong focus on client care and managing members of the public through the court process.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Strong client care skills to assist laypersons navigate the court system.
- Strong attention to detail and to spot technical points in Defences and evidence.
- Able to follow instructions of senior staff and comply with firm processes.
