We are recruiting for a Data Analyst to join our Data Team in the IT Department. The core focus of the role is to design, develop and maintain management information dashboards, reports and datasets. You will also be proactively building solutions for improvements to reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Some more key responsibilities include:
- Identify on-going improvements to existing business intelligence systems and deliver scalable solutions
- Visualize data, using tools such as Power BI and SSRS, to enable decision making and the monitoring of key performance indicators
- Provide support to end-users as required both in developed solutions & across existing technical content
- Monitor data quality, identifying and removing data anomalies
- Work closely with the rest of the IT team to recommend and agree technological solutions to meet business requirements
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to scope and implement technological solutions to meet business requirements
Job requirements:
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL, Microsoft BI Stack, Power BI, MS Excel or other reporting tools
- Broad understanding of technological innovations relating to BI and Analytics
- Able to communicate at all levels, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work in a complex technology ecosystem within a fast-paced business
- Good to have experience in programming languages such as C# or Python
- TOGAF knowledge or certification would be beneficial
