Role Overview

The SSO / DNS Engineer will lead planning and coordination activities for large-scale SSO and external DNS changes across a complex application estate as part of a merger programme. The role focuses on vendor engagement, dependency management, and Day 1 readiness.

Required Technical Skills

  • SSO standards including SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
  • External DNS and domain management
  • Understanding of certificates and PKI dependencies for authentication
  • Integration with vendor hosted and third-party applications

Required Experience

  • Experience planning or managing SSO changes across a large application estate
  • Proven experience engaging with third-party vendors for SSO and domain changes
  • Experience coordinating DNS changes to support identity and application transitions
  • Experience managing dependencies between SSO, DNS, certificates, and identity
  • Experience supporting cutover planning and Day 1 execution activities
  • Experience working on complex enterprise transformation programmes
