A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior IT Manager (Law Firm) to join our London based global law firm on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Technology teams in London & Brussels
  • Build strong working relationships with lawyers, partners, and business teams.
  • Understand local needs, communicate IT strategies clearly, and act as the escalation point for complex technology issues.
  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, hardware lifecycle, and asset tracking
  • Act as the senior point of escalation for technology-related issues
  • Manage local IT budgets and contribute to global budgeting cycles
  • Monitor spending and propose cost-effective service improvements
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies, GDPR, and client audit standards
  • Drive process improvement, documentation, and team knowledge sharing
  • Support and coordinate local/global technology projects
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract/service alignment

Key Experience

  • Experience in global IT management is a must, and preferably within a legal environment
  • Strong experience with end-user tech (laptops, AV, mobile, printers), DMS, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Proven background in managing IT budgets and tracking spend against forecast
  • Familiarity with ITSM, service metrics, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR)
  • Ability to build relationships across departments and communicate clearly at all levels
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
