My client, a global Law Firm, is recruiting for a Senior Innovation Manager to join their London-based Innovation team. This strategic role focuses on driving adoption of legal technology, leading generative AI initiatives, managing innovation projects, delivering client-facing innovation programmes, and shaping a culture of continuous improvement across the firm.
The Senior Innovation Manager will be responsible for overseeing legal tech tools, engaging internal and external stakeholders, developing client innovation initiatives, delivering training, and managing a small team. The successful candidate will have previous law firm experience, strong knowledge of AI and legal tech, excellent stakeholder and project management skills, and the ability to lead, influence, and innovate.
The role will involve:
- Driving Legal Tech & AI Innovation: Lead the rollout and adoption of generative AI tools across the firm. Oversee the legal tech toolkit, including research, onboarding, vendor management and training. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and market trends. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, tech vendors, and industry bodies. Deliver the firm's flagship legal tech incubator.
- Leading and Managing Projects: Run multiple innovation projects at pace, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Monitor progress and communicate updates to senior stakeholders. Work closely with partners, practice groups, and Business Services teams to spot opportunities for innovation. Develop client-facing initiatives. Build relationships directly with clients to understand needs and identify collaboration opportunities.

Experience required:
