My client, a global Law Firm, is recruiting for a Culture and Change Programme Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. The role will involve the delivery of a portfolio of culture and change initiatives – from leadership behaviours and collaboration to ways of working, wellbeing, DEI and technology adoption. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role, partnering with senior leaders to plan, execute and embed change.

The Programme Manager will focus on execution excellence: turning strategy into structured programmes, supporting senior leaders with delivery, and ensuring meaningful, measurable adoption across regions and divisions. This role will suit someone highly organised, professional and delivery-focused, with a practical, collaborative approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, matrix environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of culture and change initiatives aligned to strategic priorities, including leadership behaviours, collaboration, ways of working, wellbeing, client centricity and technology adoption.
  • Develop and maintain programme plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
  • Track progress against agreed outcomes, escalating risks or delays where necessary.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams across functions and regions, ensuring alignment and avoiding duplication.
  • Work closely with senior sponsors, partners and functional leads to support the delivery of change initiatives.
  • Prepare briefing packs, progress updates and materials for governance forums and leadership meetings.
  • Support leader-led interventions such as workshops, pilots and engagement sessions, including planning, logistics and follow-up.
  • Act as a central point of contact for programme stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective issue resolution.
  • Apply structured change management approaches to support the adoption of new behaviours, processes and ways of working.
  • Support readiness assessments, stakeholder mapping and engagement planning.
Skills and experience required
  • Proven experience delivering complex programmes or projects, ideally within professional services or similarly complex environments.
  • Strong capability to plan, sequence and deliver multiple initiatives in parallel.
  • Confidence working with governance structures, reporting, risk and dependency management.
  • Working knowledge of change management frameworks such as Prosci, ADKAR or Kotter.
  • Experience supporting change from design through to implementation and adoption.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders while retaining clear ownership of delivery.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
  • Collaborative working style and comfort operating in matrix environments.
