DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the professional services industry who require an IT Infrastructure and Security Manager to join the firm in London. The role includes establishing an Infrastructure Development Lifecycle, maintaining ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus compliance, developing and managing the Configuration Management Database, and creating a technology roadmap to transition from traditional on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Governance: Oversee all aspects of the firm’s IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of services. This includes managing servers (physical and virtual), networks, storage, and cloud resources that support critical IP applications.
- Cloud Transformation: Develop and execute a roadmap to migrate from on-premises to a Microsoft Azure based hybrid environment.
- Security and Compliance: Maintain and continually improve ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications.
- Monitoring and Reliability: Continuously monitor application performance, usage metrics, and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
- Configuration and Asset Management Reporting & Communication.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Networking, Virtualisation, Endpoint Management, and Backup/Recovery solutions.
- Strong technical knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN and server Windows Server administration, virtualisation platforms and storage solutions.
- Expertise in Microsoft 365 Cloud and Azure AD.
- Mobile device management and unified communications.
- Experienced in IT security frameworks, firewall management, vulnerability management, and SIEM solutions.
- Skilled in developing and managing IDLC and CMDB processes.
- Practical knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell).
- Experienced in IT transformation, cloud migration, and risk-based project delivery.
- Familiar with frameworks such as ITIL, PRINCE2, or Agile Delivery.
- Experience in a medium professional services organisation and broad experience of legal industry applications.
