IT Asset Controller A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a IT Asset Controller to join our leading Manchester based legal client on a permanent basis. IT Asset Controller Responsibilities and Duties: • Process all global new joiners and leavers requests and be the main point of contact for all queries, ensuring all requests are inline with current SLA’s and liaising with office on stock movements • Track and monitor license usage, ensuring maximum reasonable asset utilisation • Removal of unused licences by identifying and deactivating redundant software from users to optimise costs, ensure compliance and improving resource management • Manage the central Asset Control mailbox / Fresh Desk support queue in line with processes • Asset database audits involving systematically reviewing and verifying records assets to ensure accuracy, compliance and proper management of the organisation resources • Global stock management to strategically coordinate the inventory across global locations to optimise supply, demand and distribution efficiency. • Process and evaluate IT Asset Control requests from various Departments. Ensuring requests are dealt with in a time timely and efficient manner and providing regular updates to key stakeholders, as and when required IT Asset Controller Additional Responsibilities: • Contribute to the knowledge of others within the IT Team • Support Risk and Compliance in initiatives and audits • Loan Portal Management involving the overseeing and maintaining a platform that tracks processes and manages loan-related assets, ensuring accuracy, accessibility and regulatory compliance and the training of colleagues responsible for loan units within offices. • Asset Refresh ensuring the process of upgrading, replacing or optimising assets to maintain efficiency, performance and alignment with business needs and asset lifecycle planning • Ensuring all new colleagues receive the requested equipment for their roles, receive welcome emails and organise home working kit as required IT Asset Controller
