DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a progressive firm in the professional services industry who are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join the team in Bristol on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This is a great opportunity to join the team as they undertake some major platform and infrastructure upgrade projects.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the core IT infrastructure both on premise and within cloud services (Azure), monitor live service and anticipate issues before they impact service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage server infrastructure in Azure (IaaS) and on-premise in VMware.
- Active Directory and group policy management.
- Network services and applications management.
- Install new hardware and software.
- Administer network switches, WiFi, Firewalls, and SD Wan.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Key Technologies expertise in the following: Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Windows Server, Aruba Wi-Fi, Switches and SD Wan, Firewall management, Network and Infrastructure security, VMware, Microsoft 365, Microsoft SQL Server / Exchange Online.
- Experience with Azure technologies - VMs, Load Balancers, VNets, Storage Accounts and Microsoft Stack.
- Detailed understanding of network and network service technologies and experienced with network hardware.
- Remote access technologies.
