Role Overview: The Identity Engineer will provide hands on delivery support across identity, authentication, and single sign on (SSO) changes as part of a large merger programme. The role focuses on implementing identity updates, supporting SSO remediation, and enabling Day 1 readiness activities.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Active Directory in on premise and hybrid environments
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Single Sign On (SSO) technologies including SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC)
  • Identity attributes and authentication flows (e.g. UPN and email address changes)
  • Working knowledge of certificates and PKI as they relate to identity and SSO
  • Troubleshooting authentication and access issues

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience delivering identity changes in enterprise environments
  • Hands on experience supporting SSO migrations, updates, or remediation
  • Experience working in hybrid identity environments (cloud and on prem)
  • Experience supporting testing, cutover, and go live activities
  • Experience working within a project or programme delivery team
  • Experience following structured change and release processes
