DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the Professional Services industry who require an IAM Applications Engineer to join the firm in London on an initial 6 month contract basis. PLEASE NOTE: This role will fall inside IR35 and will require 3 days in the office per week.

Role Overview:

The Application Engineer will support application migration and remediation activities where Identity, Directory, DNS, or Single Sign On (SSO) changes impact application access. The role focuses on ensuring applications remain accessible, correctly permissioned, and aligned to new domain and identity standards throughout the merger programme.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Enterprise applications integrated with Active Directory, Entra ID and SailPoint.
  • Application authentication and access control models.
  • Application re permissioning following identity, domain, or directory changes.
  • SSO enabled applications using SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect.
  • DNS concepts including application related DNS records and dependencies.
  • Active Directory users, groups, and permissions.
  • Troubleshooting application authentication, access, and connectivity issues.

Required Experience:

  • Experience supporting application migrations or transition programmes.
  • Proven experience re permissioning applications following identity or directory changes.
  • Experience supporting applications impacted by DNS, domain, or SSO changes.
  • Experience working with application owners and technical delivery teams.
  • Experience providing hands on support during testing and production change events.
  • Experience working in large enterprise IT environments.
