A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of IT and Innovation/IT Manager to join our leading law firm on a permanent basis.
Location: London Area, United Kingdom.
Salary: £115,000.00 - £125,000.00.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Strategy – risk assess our current IT architecture and help create a strategic plan to support our vision, enabling the firm to make best use of technology whilst incorporating/adapting existing project plans as well as new/upcoming technologies, including the rapid advancement in AI. The plan must be managed in line with budgetary/resource requirements.
- Technical and operational expertise – maintain continuity of IT services, working with third-party vendors; oversee the management of our IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware and software; ensure the security of IT systems and data, implementing best practices for cybersecurity; ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and design/introduction of relevant policies and procedures including disaster recovery plans.
- Projects – effectively identify, prioritise and implement upcoming projects. Current projects include Windows 12, Copilot and vendor integrations.
- Leadership, training & development – lead the AI Committee to harness potential technologies safely; ensure staff training on core IT systems is available to support individuals and teams; continue mentoring and developing the IT Assistant; promote Town’s values and act as a positive role model by sharing knowledge and recognising others’ successes; stay up to date with the latest trends and professional developments.
