DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the Real Estate industry who require an Azure DevOps Engineer to join the team in East London. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying software that enhances all aspects of business activity, from deploying patches to complex builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a culture of DevOps within an emerging agile environment, focusing on providing incremental value throughout all aspects of day-to-day work.
- Work in a highly collaborative fashion with the Cloud and Infrastructure Engineering team actively enabling and driving effective virtual team structures across both teams.
- Develop a key mentoring approach to work, with the focus to enable the pivot to agile ways of working in the newly formed product teams.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge and insights into key concepts of cloud technologies including CI/CD, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. A certification in Azure would be desirable.
- Able to build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration toolchain, preferably within the context of Microsoft Azure, i.e. using Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Strong knowledge of Git and TFS.
- Good skills and experience in config management and infrastructure toolsets – Such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
- Extensive experience working with the Microsoft technology Stack.
- Experience of working in an Agile framework, preferably in a Scrum and/or scaled scrum environment.
