AI Technology Lead / Manager – Law Firm

Salary range: £90,000 – £120,000.

Location: Remote, with 2 days per week in office in the UK.

My prestigious global law firm is looking for an Innovation Technologist to lead our efforts across emerging technologies with a strong focus on AI.

Responsibilities

  • Matrix manage a small specialised team and collaborate with the technology leadership team to drive improvements and AI initiatives.
  • Engage with decision‑makers, including C‑level executives, to ensure that the firm’s strategic goals are supported by technology and to champion the delivery and adoption of AI and emerging technology.
  • Apply deep knowledge of AI trends, GenAI, Copilot, Harvey AI, LLMs, ML, and automation to shape the firm’s tech roadmap.
  • Deliver on solution architecture and solution delivery projects, ensuring high standards of quality and timeliness.
  • Lead and mentor team members, managing and delivering on multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience and knowledge of AI trends and technologies.
  • Preferred legal‑specific experience that aligns with the firm’s operations.
  • Proven track record in solution architecture and solution delivery.
