We're supporting a large UK‑based organisation seeking a Business Information Analyst to join their Data & Reporting function. This role focuses on enhancing operational reporting, improving data quality, and developing insightful dashboards that drive informed decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain performance reports, dashboards and KPIs to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Produce clear, insightful analysis to highlight trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Manage reporting requests end‑to‑end, from requirements gathering to delivery.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis on data issues and support continuous data quality improvement.
- Collaborate with operational teams, data specialists and stakeholders to enhance reporting capability.
- Support business change initiatives with data insights and performance monitoring.
Essential
- Strong SQL/T‑SQL/MySQL skills (advanced level).
- Proven experience designing end‑to‑end BI solutions using Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modelling and visualisation.
- Experience with paginated reporting tools (e.g., Power BI Paginated / SSRS).
- Strong MS Office skills, including Excel.
- Ability to present complex insights clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience producing KPI reporting and operational dashboards.
Desirable
- Knowledge of automation tools, PowerApps, SharePoint, APIs and data sourcing methods.
- Experience working with large datasets, data governance or data quality improvement.
