We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst with a strong data testing background to join a growing technology team undergoing significant transformation. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and reliability of critical business applications, data platforms, and reporting solutions.

Working within an Agile environment, you will be responsible for leading testing activities across projects and delivery squads, ensuring solutions are thoroughly tested and meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead QA and testing activities within assigned projects or delivery squads.
  • Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
  • Perform hands-on testing across data, integration, and application solutions.
  • Manage defects and test execution using Azure DevOps.
  • Validate ETL processes, data transformations, and large-volume data migrations.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Data Engineers, Product Owners, and Scrum teams.
  • Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, defects, and quality metrics.
  • Support continuous improvement of testing processes, automation, and quality practices.
  • Work with third-party vendors to verify integrations and data quality.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience testing large volumes of data within a data-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and data validation techniques.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, including understanding pipelines, datasets, and data flows.
  • Knowledge of data modelling and dimensional modelling concepts.
  • Solid SQL skills, including writing and analysing complex queries.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps for test and defect management.
  • Knowledge of structured testing methodologies and QA best practices.
  • Experience testing web, mobile, data, or integration-based solutions.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
Desirable Skills
  • Power BI and data visualisation testing experience.
  • Automated testing experience.
  • API testing knowledge.
  • ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent.
