We are working with a leading international professional services firm seeking an experienced Applications Developer to join their technology team in London. This role focuses on developing and enhancing high-performance web, mobile, and client‑server applications, supporting business‑critical systems, and delivering innovative solutions aligned to organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET MVC /.NET technologies
- Build responsive, user‑friendly front‑end solutions using modern frameworks (React, Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery)
- Develop and optimise SQL databases to ensure performance, integrity, and scalability
- Create and deliver reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI and SSRS
- Use low‑code platforms (PowerApps, Power Automate) to streamline business processes
- Integrate applications with internal systems and third‑party services
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to best development practices
- Provide user support and occasional out‑of‑hours maintenance where required
Key Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Strong experience with .NET, C#, Web APIs, and SQL Server
- Proven experience building modern web applications (ASP.NET MVC /.NET Core)
- Strong front‑end development experience (React, Angular, etc.)
- Experience delivering reporting and data visualisation solutions
- Familiarity with low‑code platforms such as Power Platform tools
