This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team and lead a diverse portfolio of strategic communications engagements for a range of leading businesses, brands and institutions. As a Director/Senior Director, you'll work with senior client leaders to tackle complex challenges, shape impactful strategies, and oversee the delivery of large-scale, high-profile projects. You'll play a central role in growing the business, building trusted client relationships, and identifying new opportunities to create value. Internally, you'll help develop exceptional talent, strengthen our collaborative and representative culture, and contribute to the direction and success of the firm. This is a role for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking, commercial leadership, and hands-on delivery to make a lasting impact for clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities- Lead a varied portfolio of client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and measurable strategic impact.
- Oversee large, complex client strategy and engagement briefs; drive alignment across workstreams.
- Advise clients on high stakes, sensitive decisions across corporate and financial communications – developing and delivering reputational, regulatory, issues and crisis, political and policy focused strategies and outcomes.
- Manage and develop team members; identify growth opportunities and provide coaching and structured feedback.
- Lead engagements with limited supervision, including multijurisdictional or cross functional initiatives.
- Identify, lead, and support new business initiatives, pitches and growth opportunities with cut through insight and creative flair.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships; contribute to revenue growth and account expansion.
- Contribute to the evolution of DGA’s methodologies, tools, and strategies.
- Support firmwide initiatives and culture building priorities.
- Toolkit Development: Acts as a subject matter expert, helping develop and improve the company's tools, frameworks, and ways of working across teams.
- Business Acumen: Builds and grows the business by expanding into new sectors and markets, strengthening the firm's presence and reputation.
- Project & Team Management: Leads multiple large-scale projects and portfolios, ensuring successful delivery while managing teams and stakeholders.
- Strategy Development: Develops complex strategies, adapts them as priorities change, and guides organisations through strategic shifts.
- Firm Leadership & Revenue Generation: Builds trusted relationships with clients and partners, identifies new business opportunities, and contributes to the firm's growth.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in strategic communications, financial communications and reputation management.
- A strong understanding of the City, having worked in house or in agency on financial calendar, M&A, IPO and other transactional situations.
- Broad corporate communications and reputation management work and experience across a multi sector and stakeholder universe.
- Demonstrable track record of driving new business processes through pitch and with strong own network of contacts.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent and relevant work experience.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a proactive approach to networking and stakeholder engagement.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong creative problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Strong people management and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead effectively.
