We are currently looking for a talented tailor to join our London team, working in our Sloane Street boutique. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for womenswear alterations, fittings, and repairs, ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship and service that defines our brand. Flexibility is required, as the role involves working across both locations and availability to work most weekends.

Your Contribution to the Role

  • Accurately assess and execute professional tailoring processes with a focus on womenswear.
  • Measure clients for size using a tape measure and record measurements precisely.
  • Fit and evaluate garments on clients to determine required alterations.
  • Alter and repair garments according to clients’ needs, while preserving the original style and construction.
  • Perform alterations using both traditional hand-stitching and sewing machine techniques.
  • Liaise with clients to create and adjust patterns to fit individual measurements and styles.
  • Communicate fitting details and alteration requirements clearly with sales staff.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Proven experience as a tailor, ideally within a luxury retail environment.
  • Expertise in menswear tailoring, alterations, and fitting, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and advanced tailoring techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver a refined client experience.
  • Flexibility to work across both boutiques and availability on most weekends.
  • A collaborative and professional mindset, ensuring seamless teamwork and the highest quality finishes.
