Are you a Registered Mental Health Nurse with experience of leading a team in a care setting? Do you have the confidence and compassion to guide a service while remaining hands-on in delivering high-quality care? Making Space is a values-led organisation committed to supporting people to live fulfilling lives, and we are now looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse Manager to lead our service at Beyer Lodge in Manchester.

The role is a full-time, permanent position working 39 hours per week. You will oversee the day-to-day running of Beyer Lodge, a 16-bed registered care home supporting older people with mental health needs and associated conditions. Alongside managing the service, you will remain involved in direct care, setting the standard for quality and compassion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the daily operations of the service, ensuring safe and effective care
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and governance requirements
  • Support, supervise and develop staff to deliver consistent standards
  • Provide hands-on nursing care and act as a role model to the team
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families and external professionals
  • Identify and introduce improvements to enhance the service
