Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking for your next step on major infrastructure projects? Farrans Construction is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join the team in Nottingham, playing a key role in delivering high-quality construction work on site while supporting project performance, safety, and technical excellence.
The Role
This is a hands-on, site-based role where you’ll take responsibility for ensuring work is delivered to the highest standards. You’ll be involved in quality inspections, technical problem-solving, and day-to-day site coordination, working closely with the Site Agent, engineers, and supervisors to keep projects running smoothly, safely, and on schedule.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the Site Agent with the day-to-day running of site operations
- Manage and guide site engineers to ensure work is delivered effectively
- Carry out quality inspections and ensure compliance with specifications
- Oversee setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction
