What you will be doing

The Community Liaison will work closely with the site team and report to the Project Manager. They will be responsible for working with a comprehensive range of community stakeholders, delivering opportunities for them to benefit from our project through a variety of different initiatives.

  • Engaging with a variety of stakeholders, including the academic sector, industry groups, social business sectors, SME Trade Bodies and local and national government
  • Working with project teams and key partners to assist delivery of agreed KPI’s
  • Engaging with supply chain for information on training and employment objectives
  • Providing support to the site teams in relation to the Considerate Constructors Scheme requirements
  • Collating data from supply chain and project team to provide monthly reports for allocated projects KPI’s
  • Contribute to business winning activities, as well as wider Company objectives and strategies
  • Contribute to and lead meetings with project teams and stakeholders
  • Quickly connect and establish credibility with people operating in key partners and stakeholder’s organisations
  • Recognise potential partnership, product and service placement opportunities and act upon them
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience of developing and delivering Community Engagement initiatives
  • Experience of dealing with local authorities and key stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Full licence and access to own vehicle
