PCV/HGV Mechanical Engineer
D G Bus is part of the larger independently owned bus company Centrebus, operating buses throughout Cheshire. We are looking to appoint skilled or semi-skilled PCV/HGV mechanic, fitter, technician; training can be offered to candidates with experience in other areas/vehicles, based at our depots in Crewe and Macclesfield.
Working with a small team, we are looking for an individual to help maintain our fleet of buses and keep it reliable and roadworthy. Duties will include:
- Regular vehicle safety inspection
- Morning run out
- Servicing
- MOT preparation
- Fault diagnosis and repair
A PCV licence would be an advantage; however, we can offer training to attain a PCV licence for the right candidate. The opportunity to obtain the IRTEC qualification can be provided if required.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Up to £40,000.00 per year
