*Job Summary* We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Motor Mechanic / Fastfit Technician / MOT Tester to join our energetic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with modern equipment and develop your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment. *Responsibilities* * Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals * Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical components * Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and accurately * Carry out MOT testing in accordance with legal standards to ensure vehicles meet safety and environmental requirements * Diagnose problems through mechanical knowledge and interpret schematics for precise repairs * Assist with equipment repair and maintenance to keep tools and machinery in optimal condition * Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and offering professional advice on vehicle care *Requirements* * Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic or similar role with strong mechanical knowledge * Certification or license to perform MOT testing (or willingness to obtain) * Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex issues * Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques * Ability to lift heavy components safely during maintenance or repair tasks * Knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems * Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude toward clients’ needs Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to vehicle safety and customer satisfaction!
