About the role – DFYNE Your Career: The Chief Financial Officer will lead and mature our global financial strategy, ensuring we scale with discipline, insight, and operational excellence. You will strengthen our existing finance function, enhance global capability, and ensure DFYNE is positioned for sustainable, profitable international growth. This role blends strategic leadership with hands on commercial partnership across every part of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- You will develop and elevate DFYNE’s finance function across the UK and international markets, enhancing systems, processes, and capability.
- You’ll champion finance transformation, drive automation, and build a high performing, culture aligned global team.
- You will evolve and deliver DFYNE’s global financial strategy, covering the UK and all international markets, ensuring alignment with long term growth plans.
- You’ll partner with the CEO and senior leaders to refine investment priorities, capital allocation, and expansion decisions across every geography we operate in.
- You will enhance DFYNE’s FPA capability across UK and global markets, strengthening forecasting, scenario planning, and performance reporting.
- You’ll ensure leaders everywhere have real time clarity and the insight needed for confident, data driven decisions.
- You will oversee and mature financial governance across all DFYNE entities, including the UK.
- You’ll ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with UK and international accounting standards, statutory requirements, and tax obligations.
- You will deepen DFYNE’s commercial capability across the UK and global operations, partnering with Product, Operations and People to optimise pricing, margins, supply chain economics, and investment decisions.
- You’ll embed commercial modelling and financial literacy across all regions.
- You will lead DFYNE’s capital strategy, including fundraising, debt management, and investor engagement, ensuring our UK and global footprint is positioned for long term financial resilience and opportunity.
Experience Needed:
- You will bring extensive senior finance leadership experience across both the UK and global markets, ideally within fast growth organisations.
- You’ve led mature finance functions through periods of scale, transformation, and international expansion, strengthening systems, controls, and commercial capability.
- You have a proven track record of partnering with CEO’s, Boards, and cross functional leaders to shape financial strategy, drive performance, and support complex decision making.
- Your background includes oversight of UK and international accounting standards, tax, compliance, and governance, alongside experience in capital strategy, and building high performing global teams.
