We\’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team in Doncaster.
In this role, you\’ll play a vital part in supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple Group entities, while also helping to maintain accurate financial records and controls. You\’ll process month-end journals, reconcile accounts, and work closely with other teams to ensure the integrity of our financial data.

What you\’ll be doing
- Assisting the Management Accounts team in preparing monthly accounts for DFS
- Calculating and processing month-end journals, reconciliations, and control accounts accurately and on time
- Taking an active role in your own development, completing relevant training and accounting qualifications
- Supporting the wider Finance team to ensure new developments are accurately reflected in accounting data
- Assisting with expenditure, capex, and other AP-related accruals across all Group entities
- Administering elements of weekly cash forecast files for Group companies
- Completing balance sheet controls each month in a timely manner
- Liaising with relevant departments to resolve accounting issues and reconciling items
- Preparing national statistics data for ONS and supporting other ad hoc reporting
- Taking part in ad hoc analysis and finance projects
