Your new role
We\’re looking for a Group Operations Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. You\’ll be responsible for completing controls-based audits across our Group functions, distribution centres and stores throughout the UK. Your role will focus on reviewing operational activities, assessing internal controls, and identifying areas for improvement. You\’ll present your findings and recommendations clearly to management and key stakeholders, helping us to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.
This role is field based, a full UK driving licence is required and willingness to travel.
What you\’ll be doing
- Planning and carrying out internal operational audits across the Group
- Reviewing processes and controls to assess their effectiveness and compliance
- Preparing clear audit reports with actionable recommendations
- Working closely with operational teams to promote awareness and understanding of policies and procedures
- Following up on audit findings to ensure agreed actions are implemented
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date audit records
- Supporting investigations and conducting ad hoc audits as needed
The role is for you if…
- You\’re a qualified Internal Auditor with relevant post-qualification experience, or have extensive experience in an internal audit role
- Strong experience in risk-based auditing and controls testing
- Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to travel across the UK
- Experience in preparing audit reports with a focus on root cause analysis
- Practical experience in internal auditing preferred
