About us
At DFS Group, we’re proud to help people create spaces they love to live in. We’re home to DFS, Sofology, and The Sofa Delivery Company: three brands with their own personalities, brought together by a shared mission. Behind our brands is a passionate Group team. From Finance and Technology to People, Marketing and Supply Chain, our Group functions power everything we do. They create the foundations that allow our brands to thrive, innovate and grow. Whether you’re supporting our brands or serving our customers, the mindset that connects us means we expect more of ourselves and each other. It means every customer is our favourite, every voice is valued, and every interaction is one we’re proud of. When you’re part of a community that shares your way of thinking, the wins feel bigger. The effort feels worth it. It’s a place where people stay because they feel valued, and find room to grow because they’re challenged.
About the role
The Content Executive is a highly organised, delivery-focused role responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and execution of content across the DFS and Sofology brands. This role ensures content development runs smoothly from brief through to delivery; managing timelines, stakeholders, assets and processes to enable high-performing content across channels. Focusing on operational excellence: turning marketing and digital media plans into structured briefs, coordinating agencies and production partners, managing shoot logistics and ensuring content is delivered on time, on brand and fit for purpose.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Supporting the Senior Manager in translating marketing plans into clear, structured content briefs and production plans.
- Owning content trackers, schedules and asset libraries to ensure visibility, prioritisation and delivery across brands and channels.
- Coordinating timelines, approvals and dependencies across marketing, creative, social and web teams.
- Tracking content performance and support reporting dashboards and insight packs.
- Managing the campaign section of the website to ensure digital teams have suitable destinations for activity.
- Leading the optimisation of our UGC collection platform.
- Managing day-to-day operational relationships with creative, production and content agencies, ensuring briefs, feedback, amends and deliveries run smoothly.
- Tracking budgets, scopes and deliverables where required, escalating risks or delays early.
- Supporting the organisation of shoots including product and sample ordering, approving shot lists, and being on set when required.
- Working with the Organic Social Executive and digital marketing teams to ensure format requirements and usage needs are clearly briefed and met.
- Working with the web team to support landing page creation.
- Maintaining channel content calendar by working closely with marketing functions to understand what we are up to together.
- Ensuring on-site content aligns with campaign messaging and delivery timelines.
- Maintaining records, templates and share resources to keep processes efficient.
- Supporting Senior manager with reviewing accessibility standards of digital content.
We’re looking for someone who has
- Experience in content operations, marketing coordination, production management or project delivery roles.
- Strong organisational and workflow management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at pace.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with agencies, production partners and cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and delivery mindset.
- Confident working with performance data and insight to support continuous improvement.
- Experience with using content management systems (Websphere Commerce preferable but not essential).
