About the role
As a Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information that supports business decision-making. Working closely with the Lead Management Accountant, you'll be responsible for producing management accounts, completing month-end activities, and ensuring the integrity of financial records across multiple entities. You'll collaborate with Finance and wider business teams, lead and develop a Management Accounts Assistant, and act as the key finance contact for manufacturing accounting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical accounting expertise with business partnering, process improvement, and continuous development.
What youll be responsible for
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts for two trading entities, working closely with the Lead Management Accountant.
- Completing month-end activities, including journals, reconciliations and control account reviews, to ensure accurate and robust financial reporting.
- Leading, coaching and developing a Management Accounts Assistant, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities. xgikmsk
