Your new role
Don’t worry if you’re new to driving a 7.5-ton vehicle - we’ll guide you through the entire process. From covering the costs of your training and medical assessments to offering time off for your Theory & Hazard tests and Driver Training, we’ve got you covered.
Once you’ve completed your training and passed the necessary tests, you'll be promoted to a 7.5T Driver role, with a pay increase to match! It’s a win-win, and we’ll have you delivering with confidence in no time! With our 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, 7am - 7pm, you’ll have plenty of time to relax, recharge, and enjoy life outside of work.
What you'll be doing
Delivering furniture safely and professionally to customers’ homes.
Keeping customers in the loop with pre-delivery communication, so they know exactly when to expect you.
Ensuring that furniture is delivered to the room of choice and leaving no rubbish behind.
Working alongside your team and senior managers to provide feedback and improve service standards.
Represent The Sofa Delivery Company values and those of our brand partners in everything that you do.
Comply with all driving laws as defined by the government and all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
A valid UK driving licence with 6 points or fewer.
At least 2 years of driving experience, with no drink/drug driving convictions.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn!
