About the role: We are seeking a Production Operative to join our dynamic manufacturing team at our Lincoln House in Somercotes site on a permanent basis. This role offers an opportunity to start a rewarding career with DFS. As a Production Operative, you will learn the factory processes and the materials needed to manufacture our furniture.

Here's what we offer:

  • Salary: £25,866 per annum + Benefits package
  • Hours: 39 hrs per week
  • Shifts: Monday to Thursday 6:00 am - 1:50 pm, Friday 6:00 am - 2:05 pm

What you'll be doing: Initially, your responsibilities will include ensuring that materials and products are available throughout the factory, which will involve significant manual lifting and require stamina. As you become proficient in your role and gain a deeper understanding of the products, you can choose to develop specialised skills such as upholstery or sewing, providing you with excellent opportunities for growth and increased earnings. No prior experience is necessary - only a desire to succeed and a willingness to learn.
