Your new Role

As a 3D Artist you will produce highly realistic renderings of products for a range of uses, primarily for display on the website. Working from assets created by the modelling team, the 3D Artist is responsible for placing products into digitally created photographic environments and progressing them to a fully finished, photorealistic standard. This includes adding all necessary components such as feet, mechanisms, and electronic elements, while ensuring accuracy and consistency in lighting and materials. The role requires effective use of Sofology’s proprietary systems and processes, including render queuing scripts within 3ds Max, to deliver a high volume of high-quality renders efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Produce photorealistic product renders for web and digital use
• Create lifestyle imagery to a high standard with minimal supervision
• Deliver a full suite of assets including:

• Hero imagery
• Cameo shots
• Extreme close-ups
• Editorial-style social content

• Lifestyle & Close-up renders
• Product renders
• PBR Materials and shaders
• Seamless tiling texture maps

This job is for you if ....

• Good knowledge of 3DS Max, V-Ray and Photoshop
• Production of high quality, photo real materials and shaders
• Can produce high quality CGI lifestyle photography
• 3D modelling
• An ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organised

• Excellent portfolio demonstrating relevant skills and experience
• 3DS Max
• V-Ray
• Photoshop
• Experience producing high quality materials
• Experience creating high quality CGI lifestyle photography
• Experience working within a team
• Experience working with AI tools and systems would be advantageous
