We're looking for a friendly and skilled Service Manager to join our team. This role is all about making sure our customers are happy by solving their in-warranty furniture issues right in their homes. You'll be the face of DFS, delivering great service and ensuring customers' much-loved furniture is back to looking its best.

What you'll be doing:
- Visiting customers to assess and resolve issues, focusing on a 'right-first-time' fix.
- Conducting high-quality repairs and refinishing on various furniture parts, including leather, upholstery, wooden surfaces, frames, and recliner mechanisms.
- Preparing thoroughly for each visit by reviewing cases and making sure you have the right parts, tools, and supplies.
- Treating every home and customer with the utmost respect and care, always operating safely and efficiently.
- Keeping open and effective communication with customers, responding quickly to any enquiries.
- Managing your stock levels in your service vehicle and keeping accurate records, including mileage.
- Making commercial decisions and handling escalated issues with integrity.

- You have the ability to diagnose and fix faults on various types of furniture (repair skills and experience with furniture build/repair are a big advantage, but if you're great with tools we can train you too!).

- You are dedicated to compliance, including health and safety, and maintaining the company vehicle to high standards.
- You are comfortable with occasional travel and overnight stays to support other areas of the business.
