We are currently seeking an Electrician to join our team in the North West. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual who is willing to learn and grow with our company.
Responsibilities
- The installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Identifying areas for additional works in and out of the specified contractual requirements, supplying accurate quotations where required for any additional works
- Understanding and completing all work-related documentation accurately, on time, exceeding the customer’s expectations
- Complying with company policies and procedures
- Carrying out work in a safe and diligent manner
- Working alongside the current team of Engineers
- Complying with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Attending and fully participating in training and appraisal activities, as required
- Liaising with office staff via phone calls, emails, and use of the PDA system
- Reporting to the Regional Manager
Person
- The ability to read and follow blueprints
- A basic understanding of voltage, current, and resistance
- Good general experience working in care homes or public sector environments is preferable
- The ability to communicate at all levels
- Generally, IT literate
- Clear oral and written communication
- A customer focused approach
- Ambition, drive and enthusiasm
- A good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
Training
Full training will be provided.
Essential Criteria
- 1-3 years of related experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Enhanced DBS clearance
Hours
08:00am - 16:30pm, 5 days per week, 40 hours. Overtime rate paid after 40 hours. Double time paid for call outs between 12am & 5am, and Sundays.
