As a Localization Manager for our Digital Platform, you will work with multiple development teams in various stages of their product lifecycle, working alongside design, engineering, product and marketing, to build the best experience for our players, viewers, and fans across the world.

We are looking for an experienced Localization Manager, who is highly customer-focused, collaborative, and has a real bias for action; who has a consistent track record of taking end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and technical environment; who’s comfortable creating and deploying new processes and ways of working; and who continuously strives to improve quality from our translation partners.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THIS ROLE?

  • Collaborating with over 16 technical product teams with daily deployments to ensure that our users across 10+ languages have a best-in-class experience.
  • Building our international localization strategy, considering the short-term and long-term growth targets, and recommending new markets and/or content.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, adopting best practices, and educating others on how to internationalize their products.
  • Assess and manage our translation partners to ensure that we are able to deliver high standards, fast-pace, and continuous improvements.
  • Develop the glossaries and style guides for our tone of voice for in-app translations and marketing content.
  • Define and measure key metrics around quality, efficiency and spend; always striving for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Extensive Localization Management experience for a technical consumer product, building scalable solutions and processes from scratch.
  • Proactive and organized in managing continuous internal requests from product and marketing then managing outsourcing partners to deliver on time and to the highest quality.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders and partners at all levels.
  • Experience in revamping processes and workflows that allow for continuous localization with ongoing improvement in agile environments.
  • Accustomed to financial planning, including forecasting and tracking of actuals against annual budgets.
  • Proficient knowledge of tools such as Jira, Figma, Crowdin, GitHub.
  • A passion for gaming and esports and a desire to innovate within a growing industry.
