We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales & Marketing Executive to join our Aintree Golf Centre.

The Jockey Club stages thrilling sporting occasions and live events nationwide including The Grand National, The Cheltenham Festival & The Derby. Owning & operating 15 courses, millions of people every year enjoy the special experiences we offer through racing, music, food and entertainment on racedays and beyond. The Golf Centre Sales & Marketing Executive will:

  • Be our go-to person for driving sales across the golf centre - from promoting memberships and lessons to boosting retail sales and finding new ways to grow our revenue.
  • Take charge of our marketing efforts by keeping our social media buzzing, website fresh, and customer database engaged with the latest offers and promotions.
  • Run our junior coaching sessions and help build up our young golfers' section - it’s all about getting the next generation excited about golf.
  • Keep your eyes open for new business opportunities and revenue streams that could benefit the centre.
  • Stay on top of our stock levels, carry out monthly checks, and work with our PGA Professional to make sure we’re selling what our customers want.
  • Get feedback from our members and customers through surveys - their insights help shape what we do next.
  • Work with England Golf and Lancashire Union to make sure we’re making the most of any promotional opportunities and staying ahead of the competition.
  • Help grow our membership base by promoting loyalty schemes, keeping subscriptions running smoothly, and making sure members stay engaged with club activities.

About you:

  • Deep knowledge of the golf industry, including golf rules, etiquette, and competitive play.
  • Experience coaching beginner and junior golfers with a focus on making the game fun and accessible.
  • Strong background in playing competitive golf within a club environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Social media savvy with the ability to promote golf activities and engage online communities.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and forward planning abilities.
  • Confident working under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as needed.
