Event Delivery is a key pillar of the groupβs business being the live platform from which fans can experience the thrill and entertainment of Formula 1. The group has longstanding commercial relationships with a diverse range of race promoters and host cities across the globe. The group is looking to build on these key external partnerships to build fan experiences and engagement across the F1 eco system.
The Event Delivery Production Manager will have responsibility for the operational planning and delivery of the Formula 1 fan areas. The role also includes delivery of off-track production at each Grand Prix including paddock entrances, media pens, cool down rooms, and the podium.
Main Duties & Responsibilities- Lead liaison for operational delivery of the F1 fan areas at allocated races and downtown events including partner activations, experience activations, merchandise structures, wayfinding, safety and security, and promoter co-ordination to ensure appropriate delivery.
- Oversee the on-site delivery of off-track installations, working directly with the suppliers to ensure all builds are completed to the correct specifications.
- Ensuring all activations are delivered to the expected F1 standard, paying close attention to detail.
- Working on operational plan development and management of suppliers.
- Site management and mark out in accordance with the event CAD plan.
- Develop and maintain relationships with promoters, circuit operation departments and suppliers.
- Managing expenditure in accordance with the agreed budget.
- Ensuring that general administrative, reporting, knowledge management and debriefing processes are followed and delivered to the required standard.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all parties are aligned.
- Support the Ceremonies team during all track sessions and post-race activities.
- Support with the delivery of the pre- and post-race shows.
- International travel minimum 12 races per year and ad hoc travel as required.
- Extensive experience in a similar role at a dynamic organisation; sport and/or live entertainment industry experience essential.
- Proven event operational experience with a track record of organisation, attention to detail, planning, and successful delivery on time and on budget.
- Experience working within a fast-paced team.
- Proven brand awareness, working closely with Marketing and Commercial Media on the delivery of brand assets on-site.
- Recent on-site experience in an operational role.
- Highly independent, performance driven and comfortable working in a global environment, under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- English fluency β spoken and written (required); additional languages desired.
- CAD Design experience - intermediate level of AutoCAD.
- Adobe Illustrator trained.
- Able to establish positive working relationships and build the respect of others internally.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; flexible and βcan doβ attitude.
- A focused and driven individual, who proactively takes on initiatives and drives projects from start to finish.
