Women’s Rugby World Cup England 2025 (Women’s RWC 2025) will be the 10th edition of the women's tournament. World Rugby, in partnership with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and UK Sport, have formed a Local Operating Company to plan and deliver the event. Ambitions for the tournament are at an all-time high as women’s rugby is one of the fastest growing team sports in the world. Women’s RWC 2025 will be the ultimate stage for the best players, teams and coaches from 16 nations across the globe and is set to be the biggest and most widely watched women's rugby event ever. Sports Presentation has been identified by World Rugby as one of the key differentiators for its events. Our sports presentation strategy sits at the heart of the match day experience to maximise engagement and amplification of events and grow the sport of rugby. Reporting in to the Sports Presentation, Ceremonies & Entertainment Manager, we are looking to appoint a Ceremonies Venue Manager to support in the delivery of the Women’s RWC25 programme. You will play a pivotal role in creating a memorable and engaging fan experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working with the Sports Presentation, Ceremonies and Entertainment Manager on the Operational planning and delivery of the RWC 2025 Opening Show and any other Ceremonies activity as required.
- Supporting the Sports Presentation, Ceremonies and Entertainment Manager on the delivery of Sports Presentation and other Entertainment activities at tournament time.
- Preparing and developing the operational documents, such as project plans, rundowns, event schedules, scenic and cast movement schedules, accreditation matrix’s etc. as required.
- Managing the supplier on-site and providing regular coordination meetings with relevant venue stakeholders.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including but not limited to Event Operations, Rugby Services, Broadcast, Commercial Operations and Partnerships.
- Manage logistics, including talent management, scheduling, equipment and personnel as required.
- Manage operational requirements with venues and stakeholders including travel and transport, parking, security, catering and equipment.
- Collaborate with contracted technical teams to ensure all audio, visual and SFX are executed seamlessly.
- Ensure all ceremonies comply with safety regulations and security protocols.
Experience & knowledge you’ll need:
- Experience in delivering major live event productions.
- Event planning and project management experience.
- Experience of working with partners and stakeholders.
- Production or Stage Management experience.

- Experience in delivering major live event productions specifically within Sports.
- Knowledge and experience of creative processes.
