About the role As a Class 2 Driver, you'll play a vital role in supporting local communities and businesses by ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. This is a varied role involving collections and deliveries across the local area, with regular customer interaction and a mix of freight types. You will be responsible for: Completing collections and deliveries across Stornoway and surrounding areas Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records Providing a professional and friendly service to customers Following all road transport legislation, company procedures, and safety standards About you You'll hold a valid Class 2 driving licence, along with a Driver CPC and digital tachograph card. Previous multi-drop or delivery experience would be beneficial but is not essential. You'll thrive in this role if you're dependable, customer-focused, and able to work independently while managing your time effectively. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to safety are essential.
