About The Role
This is a casual/zero‑hours position, working Monday to Friday during the day. You’ll be responsible for local runs, moving mainly fridge loads with dry loads when required.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle on scheduled local routes
- Transporting chilled goods and monitoring fridge temperatures
- Completing daily walkaround checks and reporting any issues
- Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
- Handling basic paperwork and delivery logs
- Following road transport regulations and tachograph requirements
About You
You’ll need a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and tachograph card. Experience with fridge work is preferred, but training can be provided. You should be reliable, safety‑conscious, and comfortable working independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
