About the role

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering excellent customer service while supporting smooth check-in, ticketing, and vessel operations. You’ll work with different systems, communicate with both customers and authorities, and assist with passenger loading and disembarkation. This position is based on a variable shift pattern of 8 hours, working any 5 days out of 7. Please note - this role will be a Fixed Term Contract for 9 months.

You will be responsible for:

  • Using Seabook and Phoenix systems to manage passenger check-ins.
  • Sharing service updates with customers as directed by the Duty Manager or Supervisor.
  • Checking hazardous materials in Hazcheck to ensure safe handling procedures are followed.
  • Liaising with relevant authorities to maintain compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assisting with passenger embarkation and disembarkation, including support for those with reduced mobility (using hand-held UHF radios as required).
