About the role
Working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, you’ll be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our commercial vehicle fleet & equipment. This includes both planned servicing and reactive repairs to keep everything running smoothly.
You will be responsible for:
- Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, vehicles & plant
- Diagnosing faults and finding practical solutions
- Responding to breakdowns and urgent repair needs
- Supporting the team with proactive upkeep of the fleet
- Learning on the job (training will be provided for the right candidate)
You’ll be part of a supportive and hardworking team in Lerwick, where everyone plays a role in keeping our operations moving.
About you
You’ll ideally have experience in motor mechanics and a good understanding of vehicle systems. We’re looking for someone with a proactive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. If you’re organised, care about doing a good job, and enjoy solving problems, you’ll thrive here.
