About the role
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our growing transport team. Based out of Immingham Docks, this role offers the flexibility to choose between general haulage or fridge work, depending on your experience and preference. You’ll be collecting ferry trailers and delivering to customer sites across the UK. General haulage includes loads like giant paper rolls, used to make cardboard boxes for home deliveries, while fridge work involves transporting temperature-sensitive goods that require careful monitoring and timely delivery. Both options involve tipping, reloading, and returning to the docks, helping keep vital supply chains moving.
- Timely collections and deliveries across the UK
- Safe transport of goods using curtainsider or refrigerated trailers (For fridge work)
- Monitoring and maintaining correct trailer temperatures
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Accurate record-keeping of deliveries and driving hours
- Compliance with all road safety and transport regulations
About You
You’re a professional Class 1 Driver who takes pride in doing the job right. Whether your background is in general haulage, fridge work, or both, you’re thorough with vehicle checks, safety-conscious, and confident working independently. You’re up to date with your CPC, DIGI card, and driving hours, and you bring a customer-first attitude to every job. Experience with ferry trailers or dockside operations is a bonus. This role is ideal for someone seeking steady, well-organised work with a supportive transport team.
