About the role

You'll manage a portfolio of strategic international freight and logistics customers across the UK, acting as the primary point of contact while driving customer satisfaction, retention, and profitable growth. Working closely with Commercial, Operations, Customer Service, and Internal Sales teams, you'll ensure customers receive a high quality, proactive service and identify opportunities to strengthen long term partnerships.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of international freight and logistics customers
  • Building trusted relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Conducting customer reviews and developing account growth plans
  • Identifying revenue, volume, and service growth opportunities
  • Supporting customer renewals, commercial discussions, and account development
  • Monitoring service performance and leading improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining CRM records, forecasting activity, and account reporting

About you

You'll have experience in account management, customer relationship management, or commercial roles within logistics, freight forwarding, transport, or supply chain environments. Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside the ability to identify growth opportunities and manage multiple priorities effectively. Knowledge of international freight, customs, or multimodal logistics would be advantageous.
