Join the HGV Driver role at DFDS. This role is part of the Global DFDS Network via McBurney Transport Group, a leading provider in haulage and cold chain logistics and storage. We are seeking an HGV Driver to join our team.

About The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Working closely within a small team to achieve and maintain a high level of service to all our customers.
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety and industry management standards and regulations are adhered to.
  • Delivering products to customers’ premises; assisting with unloading; accurately recording all activities in line with legislation and company requirements.
  • Working within the remits of the European Drivers Hours regulations; following fuel efficient driving standards.
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary.

About You

  • Full Class 1 HGV (C+E) licence (maximum of 3 penalty points).
  • Full Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
  • Flexible approach to working shift patterns in line with business requirements.
  • Valid, full car licence.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s previous experience; must be aged 21+.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Able to demonstrate previous experience.
