Be part of the movement – and play your part About the role Working 12 hour shifts, both days and nights on rota, you’ll be communicating with customers along with internal stakeholders. You will be joining a dedicated team, to deliver an efficient customs clearance service, delivering very high standards of service whilst identifying, implementing, and realising new opportunities to enhance existing revenues. You will be responsible for: Customs clearance documentation completion Checking documents Liaising with internal and external stakeholders Adhering to customs related laws and regulations Maintaining your understanding and keep up to date with changes as they occur Advising customers on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements and all other customs related matters. About you We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of three years of current Customs clearance experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the import and export process. Ideally, the candidate will also possess knowledge of POAO goods and the specific documentation these commodities require. The successful applicant will thrive as both a good team player and an individual capable of working independently and taking initiative.
